 The Hybrid Series Bed Box is a new model. This box is a combination of our HD Heavy Duty Series and our Standard BB Series. The left side drawer is our HD Heavy Duty Series drawer with the heavy duty rollers under the drawer for weight support. The right side drawer is our Standard BB Series Drawer with Teflon glides. This unit gives customers the best of both worlds. The Hybrid Series is less expensive then our HD Series but still gives you One HD Drawer for heavier items. This box is great for contractors, maintenance mechanics, tradesmen, rescue vehicles, and many other trade fields. The hybrid Series can be used with or without a truck cap. This unit is perfect for a pickup truck but can also be used in vans as well with slight modification.
Standard sizes can be modified to create more drawer space or accommodate other equipment already mounted on the truck. You are no longer restricted to the 48 inches between the wheel wells. The height of the box creates a deck above the wheel wells allowing you full use of the width of the truck bed. The sturdy aluminum tread plate deck design of the box will carry the entire payload of the truck, centered on a skid. Dividers are available so that you can arrange, sort and store tools, equipment, and parts. The "T" handle latch system compresses the drawer seal for a tight fit. The lock integrated in the handle secures your equipment and allows you to padlock the "T" in the closed position. A thief can not even get his hands on the handle.

Everything is laid out at waist height making your job easier without the pain on your back from bending over looking for tools and parts. The ergonomic design helps to eliminate the many knee injuries that can occur when jumping off the tailgate after retrieving heavy items from inside of "behind the cab boxes" and saves your back too.
The deck, drawers, and sides are constructed of 1/8-inch thick aluminum. The tread plate surface of the deck helps to prevent loads from shifting. Rollers are Hard Rubber (on the HD side). All fasteners are stainless steel with nylon insert nuts to hold them in place. The locks, rollers, and all moving parts are warranted for 10 years.
